DES MOINES, Wash. — Highline College is seeking nominations for the 2016 Distinguished Alumnus Award. The award honors former Highline students who have made notable achievements in their profession or community.

Past recipients have included Dr. Gene Sharratt, Executive Director of the Washington Student Achievement Council; Dr. Linda Petter, family practitioner and published author; and Ezra Teshome, businessman and global humanitarian.

Eligible nominees are former students who attended Highline prior to the 2011–2012 academic year and have made a significant contribution through community service, noteworthy professional achievement and/or recognized leadership.
